I am wondering if anyone has used this site to buy fabric? It is called www.acounterpane.com
I live in Australia and they say they have the fabric that I want but I just don't know if I am confident in buying from them. I have sent a couple of emails to them but they are not good at returning my emails.

If they want your business they should be willing to send you a sample! (BTW - both my daughters were born at the old Royal Victoria in Melbourne about 40 yrs ago! Fond memories!

If they have trouble answering your E mails I don't think I would order from them.

Try googling the fabric and see if anyone else has it. I'd hesitate about ordering from a place that doesn't reply to emails; what if you have a problem?
Five minutes later - I just checked their website; certainly sounds friendly, "leave a phone message and we'll call you back usually within a few minutes" and regarding email "we love to hear from you". Give it another try and tell them your concerns before you order anything.

From my experience buying things online, communication is KEY. If they can't do it now, they probably won't after you purchase it! :)

Thanks everyone for your replies. I haven't heard from them for over 24 hours so I will not be orderirng from them. I will have to try another online store.
