Default Blocks all done - OBW

So here are all my blocks ... what colour grouping should I do? Light to dark? Dark to light?

I grouped them together as much as I could

Thanks all

Stunning. I need to add OBW to my list of to do. I vote light to dark. Great job!

I'd play with layout on this one...take picture then rearrange again. You'll be inspired as you play. Fun stuff...

If you want it look like the light is above it, go dark on the bottom to light on the top. If you want it to look like a sunrise or sunset, put the dark on the top. I think it is all deciding the effect you want.

Personally, I like this type of OBW quilt best when each of the different "color" hexagons are spaced (roughly) evenly over the quilt. In particular, I like it when the nearly identical hexagons are not near each other. With spacing out the different "colors", I feel like the hexagons seem better defined; when a lot of similar hexagons are close together, I feel like they can sorta "mush" together.

Oooh, I dont' know about layout, but I love your blocks. I really need to read my book and make a OBW quilt.

Saw a friend's recently where she had the light in the center and radiated out to the dark. Was really different and interesting.

I like a swoosh of light from one of the top corners down to the opposite side. Your blocks are lovely.

All I can say for sure is that I really like your blocks and the color palette. I can't fathom how you would put them together. However, I will be anxious to see what you decide; so many options to choose from. I like the concept.
