Has anyone ever made a BJ quilt incorporating decorator fabric in some of the squares? If so, just wondering how the hold-up is. I'm new to quilting and have lots of old jeans - thought this would be a good place to try my hand at something larger than placemats, hot pads and potholders!!

If you do a search you will find lots of topics on jean quilts. I know you will find the answer on here as these quilters are so helpful.

The jean material is heavy, so the decorator fabric would be a good match
I would just make sure that the decorator fabric is washable :D:D:D

It shouldn't be a problem to sew the pices together. However, I'm sot sure how easy denim is to hand quilt....If you are machine quilting you'll probably be ok.
