I measure through the middle also on each border. I was taught this was how to square up a quilt. I don't like to do borders and sometimes it takes me all day.

If I had two 'boarders' on my quilt, I would tell them to get off my quilt really fast or I would beat them with a wet noodle.

Mannem, I think you should threaten to whip them with a wet fat quarter instead! Your post made me laugh and we all need to do more of that.
