http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNgebpEbG5I Here's a video of the winder. It shows that she manually makes a few adjustments while it's winding.

Mine came with my Gammill and didn't always wind really nice. When they came and installed my Statler they made some adjustments for me. Maybe this one can be adjusted as well?

There is usually a screw that you can turn one way or the other to adjust the evenness of winding

My DGD, bought a swinder for my birthday. None of my 4 machine bobbins would fit. Sorry to say !!! she bougth it 3 months before my birthday. She is only 14 so it works great!!! Tinker
