Love the use of the dark grey or black in the background of half the blocks. Really gives the eye a resting place without detracting from the beautiful scrappy fabrics. No suggestions on the quilting. I have a tendency to pick quilting patterns that play with each individual block, or quilt like fabric in like patterns (such as the black or the white in one texture) but I am trying to broaden my choices so will be interested to hear what others have to say. Be sure and show us what you decide.

WOW, it's gorgeous. I love the black and white print on alternating blocks, unique and very striking. Nice, no ideas for quilting though, sorry.

That is fantastic. If you are accomplished in FMQ, I would try a design in the center square and the white triangles. Think that would be gorgeous.

I used loopy feathers type of panto on mine. Don't you just love this CCD? Mine is also on my bed. We did a block exchange at Quiltville swap for this block and it is such fun to see blocks I know I didn't do. The one thing I would control more (didn't think of it at the time) I have some light blocks and wish I had made sure of the light, dark placement - put the light with the dark color - mine is black and white. Light with the dark. I don't see yours as having that problem. Beautiful.

Beautiful quilt. I would do a panto over it, it's a busy quilt already.

I just went to Bonnie's page and picked that same Pattern out to put in my file... I am doing it in the old polyester knits...
My mom gave me ALOT of it, acouple of my grand kids love heavgy quilts, so this is what they are getting... It'll never wear out, but have to find a backing that will hold up to the knits...
