I think your border suggestion (as shown in your photo) is perfect. It is going to finish up beautifully.

Can we see it with brown, floral, red? I do think the two outer borders are too much the same measurement. Used to be that we thought designs needed to be symmetrical. Not so much any more and this one is very nice. Well done!

That is a nice pattern, and a beautiful top! I like it with just the brown and red borders. But I'm sure it will look fine with the floral border, too.

I really like this because it mimics the quilt with the brown red together. I think it frames and finishes it nicely. And the size of the borders has a nice balance.

This will be gorgeous! I'd go with the layout you have, omitting the final floral border....and maybe making the red a inch wider. I think the brown/red gives it a stronger finish and frames your blocks beautifully.
