    Default Border Lines
    Good Morning! I am about to do wishbones on a quilt border. Rather than drawing 'containment' lines, I was wondering if anyone ever runs a machine basting stitch along the length of the border?

    I haven’t stitched lines but I have used painters tape to make lines. I put a few straight pins through the tape after sticking to further anchor it.

    When putting on a specialized border sometimes I will baste to hold the entire quilt in place without any shifting.
