    I have this panel and a quilt pattern that makes it much larger (more fabrics added). I think the size of the panel is the reason for adding the border. Is it big enough to be a quilt without the border? Are you using it for a wall hanging? I think that should be considered as well.

    Darling quilt! If you like it, bind it! I would use the red to match the inner borders if you aren't going to add another border.

    First of all, I love your quilt ! While I love it the way it is, I think a border might make it even better. The outside cornerstones seem to "float" without a border. Why not "audition" some border fabrics and see how they look. If the pattern calls for a 6" border, try that as well, and see if you like it. Either way, it is a darling quilt.

    I agree do what you like best but I think a thin christmas green would look nice.

    No border means that you will loose a little bit of the of the print design on the corners.
