The narrow 2" and wider purple 4" look fine.

I like the red probably at a width of 1.5" but the purple probably should be a little wider. Usually my borders for that size is about 3.5" to 4" finished. I would do the binding in the same purple fabric. Looks great!

I think this block arrangement is great. I would try the purple border at 1-2 in. wider.

The red probably at a width of 1.5" but the purple probably should be a little wider. Love the looks and there isn't too much white in my opinion. Just put the purple border on your design wall a little over the red and see if you like the skinnier look. Show us your final quilt.

What you have will surely look nice. I would try the red, a very small line of he very dark, then a very wide purple. Audition that and see how you like it.

I'd go with 3" and 5". Those seem to always work for me.
