First one--hands down! I LOVE your quilt. What pattern is it? The planet fabric is a LOT of fun to look at.

My vote goes for just the blue. It is a beautiful color. I don't feel that the white does anything for your beautiful quilt.

The pattern is called What Knots? in a book titled Mystery Quilts by Rita Fishel. When I first started quilting, 6 years ago, I found that the instructions for mystery quilts were just what this beginner needed. I bought several mystery quilt books, but Rita Fishel's book has been my favorite. I have made several quilts using this pattern. It is fun to make.

I'm a great fan of 'floating' the design of the body of a quilt. View 3 does this better than the other two, in my opinion, and is more attractive to me.

Thanks, Jan, for putting words to why I prefer the 3rd choice. I was trying to explain it to my son, and it is the "floating" that really describes what I like. It also seems to give my eyes a place to rest....and I think I will consider my decision made. Tomorrow I will sew the borders on.

I liked # 3. Seems to frame it better. What did the kitty like?

I like the first one as well...the aqua/blue is a nice pop of color the white just disappears.
