I like it the way it is, and like the brown better than the green. but, if you want, could you just trim down the brown to 1" and then add the thicker green border that you desire?

I like the brown/tan better than the green.

I vote for brown too as it makes the other colors really pop. A green binding would be nice to tie it all together, but would not draw your attention away from the design as I think a wide green border tends to do. No matter what, it is a beautiful runner.

I wondered about green binding. I also wondered about trimming down the brown. Oh the decisions to make!

    Thanks ladies!

I see why the green is better now. I originally thought, "That looks nice like that." But the green is much better to my mind's eye. The green makes the design look like it stands out better. After all that work, I would think it should be the star of the show. Right?

I like how it looks with the navy and brown borders. The brown sets off the sashing strips and the block design.

I love how we all see things differently. I really like the brown border, with the green binding.

I'll add my two cents, I agree with the brown to set off the blocks. With the green in the corners of the blocks and flying geese, it seems to kind of melt into the blocks rather than showcasing the blocks.

    I second this. Very nice!
