Yah, can "city folk" use their garage to paint a barn quilt. Also, can you just paint it on the garage and/or barn? I think it is such a fun idea. Edie
I was thinking this, too. This would be a neat idea! But our neighborhood has a darned Homeowner's Association that once wrote me letter complaining that I didn't get approval for the COLOR of the flowers I planted in the front yard. They'd hardly go for anything as beautiful as a 'garage door' quilt.

Oregon needs to "get with the program"! These barn quilts are a beautiful way to add homeiness to the countryside.

Seems like it would be a pretty reminder of a quilt every time you enter the driveway or look at your yard!

Ohhhhh My hubby is definitely going to think I'm off my rocker when I bring up this idea! But I LOVE IT!

As I see it - it's GARDEN ART at it's finest.

    Thanks!
