Hi,

My dh cuts me pieces of thin press board that he buys at somewhere like Lowes, Home Depot, lumber place, etc.. I have a bottom for all my purses and totes, he cuts it the size I need, rounds the corners and I make it a pillowcase from matching fabric...presto, purse bottom!

I think most of us use quilting fabric. That's what I use. I might try using upholstry sometime but just not in the mood to try right now. HTH
