I have done some embroidery, quilting, free motion, and it does sew a lot quieter than my huskvarna ever did ... I'm sure my parrot is much happier about that!
Since I already had an embroidery / quilting sewing machine, there's nothing really brand new to me ... just some new features that are wonderful, and it has been quite easy to figure out.
There is only ONE thing I miss from my topaz 30 ... when the presser foot was up, you didn't have to drop it to start sewing, it would drop automatically. I so miss that! I sewed last night and most of today, and every single time I got beeped at to lower the presser foot LOL ... that will take some getting used to.
The new feature that I really like - the automatic threader - it really is automatic! That's a really cool feature!
Thanks for all the congrats - I'm very happy with it (as I expected to be! I did do a lot of research!)
