Yuck! When I want to use starch I like to use Faultless boxed starch and make a batch according to directions. I don't know whether you could put it in a spray bottle, but it will keep for several days in the refrigerator. As a shortcut, I do use canned spray starch and from now on will test it before spraying on what I am working on.Thanks for the warning. froggyintexas

I will definitately take them back, but will have to wait until the weekend to do that. In the meantime I have emailed the stores customer service department in the hope they will check out their stock. I keep imagining how I would have felt if I had sprayed it onto some of my vintage linens! I would hate for that to happen to someone else.
