Default Burst Block by Rob Appell

I made these blocks a couple years ago, maybe back in 2019, whenever he came out with this block. Then the Covid hit, rotor cuff surgery hit and I'm just now finally getting back to all those UFOs and getthing them put together. Got 4 of them from blocks to flimsy waiting to be quilted so did well. Now I have this one and can't decide how to put all 100 blocks together. I have 25 colors, 4 blocks each. The recipent loves zebras so I used zebra fabric for the neutral. Even found a backing that resembled zebra stripes. I'm just stumped how I should put the blocks together though. Any idea, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The colored fabrics area all batiks. Here's a few of the blocks in real life and the color chart showing the fabrics I used. And yes, this will be a massive quilt when done. I put some of the blocks in various arrangements as I didn't know which would look best. Thanks y'all.

Neat blocks! Is there a way to do each set of 4 blocks like a star burst?

I made a Burst block quilt a long time ago. I used different colors in each block unit like in the quilt video. With the strong zebra print I think your quilt will look very much modern bohemian style. I made that style up. LOL

Just switch the top and bottom rows and you will have a 'burst'!

A friend of mine showed up today and that's how she suggested, basically haphazardly place the blocks. I have 100 blocks in 25 color ways (4 each), might be the way to go. Thanks.

Onebyone, do you have a photo of the quilt you did using these burst blocks?

No pictures of the one I made because it was a donation. They are fast to do. I made several since for a teen foster care. Boys seem to love this pattern in bold colors.
