Default Busy weekend went to Quilt Show

Oh Oh I think I may have over spent this weekend..... If I was to add up everything it would be pretty close to ...... are you ready eeeek $750-800.. People were commenting on how everything seemed to be a bit pricey and most booths weren't willing to bargain with you...which is true...those booths I just walked away from. A lot of the vendors that I knew was coming, I pre-phoned them to see if they would bring stuff that I was looking for. Like accessories for my longarm. For that I got a extended table to do ruler work, 2 feet-a open toe stippling foot and a ruler foot, a extra bobbin case, they did give me a deal and I believe I paid $217 for all of that. I had Hamels fabric bring me a couple of bali pops that were on special, but I also bout 3 more jelly rolls and about 8 half meter pieces and some other material...total there I believe was well over $300...then at another booth I purchased a couple of patterns and that new ruler that has the cutter attached to it, like Eleanor Burns used..so that was about $80...Then I purchased that Christmas panel that you can put lights through it, some fat quarters and a couple of patterns, that was over $50...ok there was other stuff I bought like rulers (hex n more by Jay bird a couple of her patterns ect....yep things sure added up quickly...ooh and I broke down and bought the red snappers sure hope I don't have buyer's remorse with those...Well that's allllll folks lol.

I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the red snappers. Did you get the side pieces too (Red-e-Edge?) They're even better than the Snappers IMHO.

I look at it this way.... How often do you get to go to something like this? Might as well make it worth your while! Glad you had such a good time!!

Wow, sounds like you really had a good time. That's the way to do it, with lots of preplanning. That way you get just what you need and none of those things that make you say "what am I going to do with THIS?"
