What a warm and loving quilt! And a nice keepsake that she will hold close to her heart always.

There is no pattern for this - I made it up as I went...I got the butterflies from coloring pages - free on the internet. I use these a lot for my applique quilts. I don't know how long it took since I worked on it off and on over several months. I had a hard time getting "inspired"....the request was for butterflies...so I was trying to think of something creative that a young girl would like...I started by making butterflies....then I got the field of daisies idea and did that....then when I started laying out the butterflies I decided to add the big daisies.

Your quilt is gorgeous, and so is the quilting. Love, love, love it! So feminine.

This is for sure a really happy quilt. I love the daisies on the bottom are they individually pieced or is it a piece of fabric that has been quilted? if you can pm me with details, i would love to hear from you
