I bought my Juki on line, but if it ever needs serviced there is no one here to do it. I would buy from a dealer.

I bought my first embroidery/sewing machine online and it was great. I could email her pictures of the problem I was having and she would email back a picture of how it was supposed to look. Late at night!

I did have a problem that needed a repair shop at one point and the repair guy 45 minutes away took care of it. He said people ship him machines all the time, too.

I have bought locally for my previous machines, but my latest purchase was in Paducah from a vendor in another state that has an excellent reputation who also has a huge online store.

I would definitely buy from this guy again.

A machine is not something I would buy online. In my case when i bought my Bernina I took all the free lessons which were great and my dealer is there if I ever have a problem.
Just my experience though. Good luck whatever you do :)
