I am like you--way too much fabric (according to my husband)! But I can't resist a sale on fabric when I am out and about in a quilt shop.

I tried to do a word search here on the QB but couldn’t put my finger on it...I, too, have seen something somewhere.

I have a modest stash and I try to pull from it regularly so I don’t have the need (at least at this point) to calculate my stash. Good luck.

I cleaned my sewing room about 10 years ago. Rewrapped pieces and marked the yardage. I counted 300 yards. Not including my drawers and boxes of fat quarters. I was surprised.

I don't want to know either. I keep my stash pretty organized and that's good enough for me

All I know about how much fabric I have, is between quilting, clothing, dolls, decor and car accessories fabric, I just know I can’t count that high. Lol.

I'd be scared to even try to find out. I'd probably have another stroke if I knew how much yardage and how much money was tied up in my stash.

I know last year I was given over 200 yards from a retired quilter, plus all that I already had and purchased since then. Just can't seem to stay away from the sales......

I just spent 4 days sorting & organizing plus destashing my fabric then cleaning out my craft room and getting rid of lots of stuff. I have more than enough minus about 3 colors but don't use them anyway so no big deal that I don't have them. Lots of fabric is my answer to the question.

I now have some empty totes for which I need to find homes or space for but it's clean (for about a week!) I still have too much stuff!

I really don't want to know! I'm trying to use mine in donation quilts.

Scrappingfaye - are you going to do Bonnie's mystery this year? Mine from last year is finished (including binding and label, lol) and I am excited to start the next. It's my first time doing one since my retirement, so I am particularly looking forward to being able to keep up with the clues and finish more or less "on time". I won't be able to start right on time, as I'll be out of state, and I won't be home at Christmas, either - but should be able to catch up on those weeks wtihout too much trouble.

I have a fairly small stash and I am going to really try to keep it that way. I have an enormous weaving stash, hundreds of pounds of yarn and I am trying my best to not allow my quilting stash grow the way my weaving stash did. I know from experience, I wove out of my yarn stash for over 2 years and did not dent it. It is amazing just how far fabric and yarn can go when working on a project:-)
