I also use my cell phone camera to take MANY pictures.
I ALWAYS tell my husband (the MAJOR computer geek) that in
MY opinion one of the best inventions in my 49 years besides
the computer is the digital camera.
20 years ago I had a NICE Canon camera setup with ALL the
different lenses, and it was film. I can't begin to count the number
of pictures I took that was a waste of film due to over/under
exposure, blurred, or just not the "right" time to click the shutter.
I LOVE my digitals because I don't have the added expense having
to get photos developed only to get one or two "special" pictures.

I have a Pentax OptioX10 8 megapixel with 7x optical zoom. It takes decent photos, and is quite small and light weight. It's about 5 yr old. I had a Fuji finepix before that, which produced photos indoors with a yellow cast.

I have a Canon D60 with 5 difference lenses. I bought it for myself because I photograph my husband's gospel trio and maintain their Facebook page. Mine is a 14MP, among many other wonderful traits. It was my passion before I discovered quilting. Although, I will still get up early to photograph a sunrise and it seems I always have a camera in my hand.....except when I'm quilting. .
