I loved reading your story. I also have 3 featherweights and I have indeed named them. I did not inherit them as you did. Yours is truely special.
Thanks so very much for sharing you lovely story with us, my heart is warmed and my eyes are blurry.

What a wonderful story - I got goosebumps reading it and all the hair stood up on the back of my neck! It's a beautiful machine and a wonderful memento of your dear brother. :D

What a beautiful story. I love featherweights. I have two. The first one I bought at a flea market for $425 the next one my husband found at a yard sale. I collect old machines, toy or salesman's samples. My son had some very old and expensive wood that he traded for a featherweight for his wife.
