Can you identify this pattern?
Does anyone recognise this pattern? [the small blue one] Does it have a name that I could look up?

It is a Carol Doak pattern. The quiltmaker called it "Rainbow Stars" but I don't know if that's what Carol called it, also.

It's of interest to note the comment on the post the OP linked to. That person asked about a pattern to the paper pieced "butterfly". So maybe Carol designed a butterfly and not a star...?

I just had an idea for a game for our Christmas party. I'll take one those squares, cut it up into the sizes shown, and have each group try to put them all together into a pattern what will form the big square. Then we could take a picture of that if we want to make a square like that.
