    who wants to sew when you can hold something as precious as a grand baby?? You know, you don't get to keep grandchildren very many years before they grow too big and have other things more important in their lives than grandma.... so take every minute you can get, sewing will always be there.. these precious babies won't. I hold mine whenever I can, and love them more than life.

    If I had a tiny precious one like that to hold, the last thing on my mind would be sewing..or anything else for that matter. He would have my undivided attention.

    I had two who were born a month early. They slept like crazy for a month, then one day they woke up and decided it was time to be a baby and occupy all my waking hours. Not much time for sewing then!
