Can you tell it's a tree??

I'm making this tree pattern from MSQ, and desided to use a different background for a change, can you see the tree in it? Thank you.

Silver would be pretty. Or a print with silver metallic.

A yellow star will immediately say Christmas tree. Looks like a great pattern. I like the polka dot background.

Yes, it looks great, I like the background much better than a plain while or ivory color.

Unless you are going for abstract, why not appliqué a small brown rectangle on the bottom for the trunk?

I like the polka dot fabric. Reminds me of multicoloured snowflakes. I think an appliqued trunk is a good idea too. And so is a silver star instead of yellow. Very cute.

Thank you, it will have a trunk on the bottom when complete. I always use a wow and my Granddaughter said " Grandma use something different for a change and she picked this one."

Yes, it's very fun and modern looking. A trunk and star will add the finishing touches.

I like the idea of a trunk as well.
The star? Hmmm, not sure of the color but I bet you'll come up with a good one.
