My LQS just got in the new Cat in the Hat fabric. It is wonderful.
There are about 9 different kinds. One of the bolts is a panel with about 8 squares. I love all of the fabric but do not know what kind of quilt would show it off.
Have any of you seen the fabrics and have any of you made a quilt???
If you have please send pics so I can get a good idea of what to do.
I know there are some really creative people out there.
Thank you all,
Pat

I'm in the same boat right now. I pre-ordered a ton of the fabric (15 yards or so). I've been keeping an eye out for patterns that I think fit the fabrics but haven't seen anything yet. Fatquartershop.com has a few kits that you may be able to buy the pattern separately from that use the Dr. Seuss fabrics.

I'll be looking forward to seeing what others create with their Seuss fabric!

I saw a Cat in the Hat quilt featured in a recent quilting magazine....either Quick Quilts, Easy Quilts or F & P Love of Quilting. It was just last month. Hope that helps.

If you Google "cat in the hat" quilt I think you will find several patterns online, including a free one from Robert Kaufman. Also do the Google search on Google Images for more options.

Here's a cute easy one:

I think a D9P would look good. One of the quilts they had made up ; cuts the prints too small and you lose the picture design.

I did purchase a LOT of it at a pre sale, but have yet to make any quilts with it. I'm thinking of using some of the sq.'s from the panel , bordering it with a solid color, making pinwheels to line between rows another solid strip then finish off with the fun red/white stripped. Now, if I can just keep that plan in my head til I'm ready to make it.....hope I remember
