This is our queen kitty--13 yr old Callie.

I have been making pet nappers for the cats at the shelter where I volunteer. I have made so many of them now that all the cats in the adoption room can have a clean quilt every day. I also make petnappers for the dogs and cats that are adopted out. That way their new human companions will have a soft quilt to put in the animal carrier when tehy are taking them to the vets office or when the animal is in the car. I take the dirty quilts home 3 times each week and wash them becuase the shelter really doesn't have the facilities to launder them. It has helped with teh cats being calmer while they are in their cages. If you have opportunity where you live and want to do something worthwhile, you may want to check with your local shelter to see if they have a use for petnappers. I think your quilt is cute. My cats at home all have their own separate little quilts.
