Thanks for reminding me of these guys. I too have ordered from their printed catalog for years and been very happy with them. Since the shipping is the same, I usually wait to order until I see several books I want! Makes me feel thriftier some how.

The other day when I was in there I noticed she had a quite a few craft and quilting books but being the cheapo I am I do not buy books full price lol. While she was cutting my fabric I purchased she said I do not usually do this but I am going to give u my website that I order my quilting books from and I am able to mark them up at least 50%! So I here is the link ladies

keep in mind that ordering is differ to keep costs low from what I understand u can either request a catalog or browse through what they have and print off the order form and mail the order form and check, this help keeps costs low. I have not yet ordered but the shop owner has multiple times and said the shipping is $3.50 regardless of how much u order.
I have been ordering from Edward Hamilton book company for years. They sell all kinds of discounted books to everybody! Quilting and needlework is only a tiny part of their list.
In fact when I started ordering from them, they had the ads in a kind of one big long scrambled list in a kind of newspaper that came in the mail.
Then, it took a long time to read the entire list! - to find just one book!
Back then, in the nineties, one day I wrote them a grumpy letter asking them to please, please, p l e a s e get a computer, to be able to classify the lists! LOL! I got a nice - but bit grumpy - letter back from them saying "No Thanks!" Not us! LOL!!!
Well, eventually, they saw the light, and got a computer, categorized their catalogs and now they are printed in color!!!!
You can order huge boxes full and the price for postage is the same $3.50 It has been like that a long time!
