Default Cheap Template Plastic

We got some flexible plastic chopping mats at the flea market a while ago and they are pretty decent sized. I was recently needing a template that I could see through. I traced the pattern onto the see-through mat and easily cut it with regular household scissors. It's just thick enough to easily be traced around. At the flea market today I found more of them and got them for future projects. You can get a package of 2 or sometimes 3 for $1.00. Can not beat the price. I thought this might help someone else so I decided to share the info.

You might also find them in dollar stores.

I did the same thing and they work great, iron doesn't seem to melt them!

Thank you so much for this tip! I bought a couple of these at the dollar store intending to give them away at xmas and have had them sitting around for two xmases now. Having just sheared the edge off a baby block template, your tip saves the day for me.
