Question Christmas bed runner embellishments?

The Christmas/holidays quilted bed runner I am making was handsewing the binding, ended in a small tail. The short bit got me thinking maybe add some beads, loose ribbons maybe even some jingle bells. Has anyone done this?
Is there a picture of bed runners with embellishments that dangle ?Would be only one side as bed is alongside the wall so made only one side with that slanted edge, the other is just straight.

Absolutely put a couple of jingle bells on it. It is your runner, you can do whatever you choose. If it was mine, I would love to have the jingle bells on it, so whenever I straightened it up or moved it, I would hear that slight tinkle of bells.
Very beautiful fabric by the way. And if you decided you didn't like the bells after all, just cut them off.

If you remove it at night then bells would look cute.

I like the idea! I'm not sure I wouldn't wake up if the bells were jingling. Maybe I'd hang small ornaments from ribbons at different lengths. They make them plastic these days so they wouldn't break. Your fabric is gorgeous!

I would use small safety pins to attach the little bells since they do not survive washing at all, but it does sound like a wonderful idea.

I think it sounds like a fun creative idea too. The holidays are for extravagence!

I just added a Christmas Bed Runner to my "To Do List!" Why didn't I think of that before?
