Eureka! is another gorgeous Christmas quilt, but it's not at all easy.

I think Warm Wishes looks good in Christmas fabrics and it's easy enough for even beginners to do.

I've been thinking about doing a Carpenter's Star from Xnas fabrics. There's a pattern for one that uses layer cakes that seems neat. Or you could do a Trip Around the World. I did several as lap Xmas quilts.

You can also do a lot with a "Disappearing Nine Patch", and they are scrappy looking too. If you cut your blocks a nice size you can whip right through one. I made a twin sized "10 Min Block" in an afternoon. I didn't ever master the 10 minute per block aspect.. more like 20 per block, but it was still SOO FAST and I wanted the tips of the center diamond to be perfect given I was donating the quilt to the United Way.
