Someone posted a quilt made of a old fashioned tree on a panel..one with the old time baulbs ect., I was wondering how she (or he) quilted it. I have the panel and borders done but am scared of wrecking it with the wrong quilting on it. Sure hope you are watching the board! Thanks

were the bulbs attachments of hard objects? is that what worries you? or that you just want a quilting pattern that goes with the theme of the quilt?

The baulbs were part of the panel, it is such a pretty tree I don't want to do something to take away from that, I am at works can't post a pic. I am thinking cross hatch outside the tree and some swirls around the tree decorations. I have two panels so I guess if i mess up one I can try on another!
