    Default Christmas Wall Hanging Patterns?

Hello Quilters! Christmas is fast approaching and I need to make at least 2 Christmas wall hangings to give for gift exchanges with a couple of quilting groups I belong to.
The challenge for me seems to be to find a design/pattern that appeals to me. The design(s) need to be fairly "quick" but not necessarily "easy"; I intend to improvise a bit to make it my own and add quite a bit of custom FMQ.
So, any help you can be with suggesting patterns, or just designs, would be so very much appreciated!

    Pick a bock.
    Any block you like.
    Make it in Christmas fabrics.
    Border it up. Quilt. Bind.
    And don't forget the label!

One of my favourites is the Double Friendship Star ... emphasis on the friendship, for the gift giving!

I just made this by copying from someone else. Blocks sewn on point.
I also have a snowman door hanger pattern if you're interested.

Check out the book, "Christmas in the Country", by Rhonda McCray. I bought one this year from amazon for small fun things to make, including a couple wall hangings. So very cute!
Also, I am thinking that the christmas tree that is images of sewing items is adorable for a gift to quilters. Amy Butler on Ebay for the pattern.

RedGarnet ... What a clever Christmas tree! But that looks oh so tedious to make!

Here's a link to the book, that RedGarnet mentioned ...

b.zang. your tree is so cute! It looks like you used 2.5 inch squares. I'm tempted to try it with 1.5 inch squares for an ornament exchange. A tree for your Christmas Tree!
