Hello, my name is DeDe and I recently purchased a sewing machine cabinet at a garage sale. I can not seem to find which machine this cabinet is intended for. I have a Singer 328k and it is about an inch to long to fit into this cabinet. It had a knee pedal attached inside the right leg area. I can not find any numbers or stickers on the cabinet except the numbers 112 72. Don't know if this helps any. I would like to see what machine would fit into it and perhaps the make and model of the cabinet. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks, DeDe :-}

I think someone was looking for a foot pedal just like that on the classified section here. That might give you an idea of which machine would work.

I had this exact same cabinet except that mine had two sets of hinge pins in it. It held a Wizard (Western Auto's brand name) when I bought it, but it would have fit my Kenmores, too.
How far apart are the centers of the hinge pins and what is the diameter of the hinge pins?

That's not a foot pedal, it's a knee pedal;>

Doesn't that knee pedal convert to a foot pedal? The long piece one's knee pushes against can be turned around by loosening the screw and repositioning the long bar over the rest of the pedal so one's foot can be pushed against it to provide connection for sewing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is my understanding from others I've seen.
