I am very keen to embark on a City and Guilds Course in the United Kingdom, but I am not sure what colleges are running this subject. I live in Scotland and, as far as I know, there is nothing available north of the border. Can anybody suggest a suitable educational establishment which would offer this subject?

Which subject ? Patchwork ? Then try a search for courses in "Stitched Textiles" - I believe that's the name for the C&G related certificate/diploma. Failing that try searching www.hotcourses.com - they definitely include colleges that offer patchwork classes - whether they qualify for C&G will require a bit of sifting.

Thank you for your information. Unfortunately they cannot recommend a college that offers what I want near to home. It was kind of you to take an interest.

There is an online course called Creative Quiltmaking (City & Guilds accredited) that is offered by Linda and Laura Kemshall.
