I have yet to make a bow tucks tote; however, I am concerned about cleaning it when it gets dirty. Has anyone tried washing them? I would really like to know.

I remove the stiff inside bottom and hand wash in the kitchen sink. Then I blot out as much water as possible and shape to dry on the counter.

I throw mine in the washer and drier. Haven't had any problems. I do take the stiff bottom out first.

I took out my stiff bottom, put in a couple of the color catcher sheets and washed on the gentle cycle. Then took it out, straightened it up a bit and tossed in the dryer for just a few minutes, then hung it up to finish drying. Looks great.

Threw it in with the rest of the wash, followed up with the rest in the dryer.
Not a problem.

threw it in the wash and dry (without the stiff bottom) and then lightly pressed.
