Does anyone have a Bernina 1530 and can answer this question? The trackball is not working very well and I have wiped it down with a damp cloth many times like the instructions tell me to do, but it just takes forever to move the little arrow. Before I take it in for service I just didn't know if anyone had a way to clean this so that it will work properly. There is absolutely nothing else wrong with my machine and I can eventually get the arrow to move, but it takes a while. Thanks for any information anyone may have on this subject. 8-)

If you don't find an answer here, try the yahoo group berninathirtysomethings or patternreview.com. Good luck!
