I love them, but I'm on my third one. Once they break there is no fixing them. Not an inexpensive item to keep replacing.

I bought a Dritz this week and can't get it to work at all. I'm sorry I didn't just pick up a couple more of the 'old fashioned' kind.

I use quilting betweens for both quilting and applique & occasionally I struggle to get quilting thread thru' the tiny eye; I bought a Dritz threader last week, but it did not work even once so I returned it for a refund this week.

Love mine!!! Have used it for years. Older I get the more I use it saves lots of frustration - I keep it right in my sewing basket it goes where I go!

I have one(Clover) and had trouble getting it to work, but saw a vendor at a quilt show had them in her booth, and told her I had one but couldn't get it to work. She demo-ed it for me and haven't had trouble with it and love it. It was not so fast and hard-more of being sure to press all the way down, but she did talk about how and where to lay the thread. I don't have the wood base just set it up with needle and thread and hold the base with one hand and press down with my other hand.

I have had a few and wouldn't be without one. I had one for years before it stopped working. Had to run out and get another. It is a wonderful invention. Threading needles is so easy now. Again, would not be without one.

I use the Bohin needle threader and really like it, did not have much luck with the Clover.

Good to know, since my eyesight is not what it used to be, threading needles can be very problematic for me.

I have one I use when traveling. Its hard to thread a needle on the road, so I just set it on the console and voila! no problem. Haven't used it at home though
