    On the recommendation of someone else on the QB, I bought a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser last week and used it on my yucky iron. I could not believe how clean it got the bottom of the iron. And it worked so quickly too and without severe scrubbing!!! Thanks to whoever originally posted about that and to all who are still passing that info. along.

    I did, the teacher thought it was foil not angelina film so she didn't use the sheet

    I have successfully used plain table salt to clean the iron plate. Get the iron hot, spread a line of salt on a cotton towel and rub the plate over the salt. May need to repeat but it really works.
