That's what I bought mine for and I also use it for pressing seams while assembling rotary cut blocks when my travel size Rowenta acts up.

I have the 1st edition one and use it when applying bias stems or doing lead for the stained glass look. If you buy one make sure you get the one that you can interchange the plate to small or larger.

I have one and I use is for pieces like for dresden plate , pressing small seems.

It kinda looks like a curling iron but on the end of it is about an inch size shaped, flat heart to get into little places or to use for anything. I do lots of hand embroidery & love it I can get into sml areas without ruining the threads.

I bought mine at a Mennonite store for about 15.00. You can Google it or go to clover.com & see the pics.

Got one and used it a lot and it was one of the first out and my friend sent me another one so now have one in sewing room and one in the camper trailer and I love it. When PP it is so good or for littl applique pieces. Uead a 50% off at JoAnn's to get one...
