I too am a member of this club. However the needle went through the nail and bone. I was only 8 when this happened so it didn't seem to hurt much. Had to go to doctor to have removed because the needle was bent and had to be cut and then pulled out. That is what really hurt. Jeanniebelle

Can we close membership in this club? Haven't enough of us shown it is not fun or comforting? It doesn't grow our stash. It doesn't add to creativity?

Ouch! So far I have avoided this but did sit on a crochet needle once. Luckily it was one with a very small hook!

Just reading about it and the comments makes me remind myself to be extra careful. I can't imagine the pain and getting it out. I promise to keep alert. Thanks for the warning.

I niped mine a few months ago and that was a surprise. I now make sure that when doing things on the machine, to take my foot off the foot feed untill ready to sew.
