Welcome to othe club!! Mine is all healed to look at it, but remains very tender to the touch. It's shocking how fast it happens, isn't it?
Heal well and soon!

Having done that myself (with my long arm, no less!) I can truly sympathize and wish you well and a speedy recovery!

Thanks everyone. Sounds like we could do a bulk order of Klutz Gloves that Fons and Porter sell. Sorry this seems to be such a big club.
Finger is better today, just a little bruised feeling.
I now use my hemostat to grab the bobbin thread.

I joined this month as well, about 10 days ago. I am all healed up. It hurt but actually hurt less than I had always imagined..... in any case, I hope to only join once!

Haven't joined that club yet but I always have the fear that I will. It
makes my arms feel weak just thinking about it.

Got to join this club last month. Right through my index finger next to tne fingernail. Unfortunately I was sewing with a group of new quilting friends and now I'm known as "that lady who sewed through her finger" - even by one of the husbands!!

Ouch, sorry to hear that....

But isn't it amazing that the finger actually manages to get under that needle (at least the side of the finger!) Yet, try to put a quilt sandwich under there!
