Colonial and Northland brands wide muslin
Happy Saturday, everyone! I've been quilting this morning, using a plain muslin for backing and there's a cream colored Kona in my backgrounds. While I love color, I really love the look of cream thread on a nice creamy muslin background or backing. It's soothing to me, I guess. Anyway, I was looking at wide width muslin on fabric.com. Two brands they carry are Northland and Colonial and I'm wondering if any of you have experience with those brands? Are they good quality? The price would sure be right for backing a quilt. Thanks a bunch and I hope you all have lovely, quilty weekends!

i'm using Colonial right now- it is nice, working fine for the backing of the 2 Connecticut quilts I made. I have not tried the Northland. I buy pretty much 99% of my wide backings from fabric.com- have for 11 years- I've never been unhappy with any of them. I love the wide flannels. I've used a number of their muslins I do pre-wash them - they have a nice weight/hand to them, are soft & nice to work with
