Color for border?

Small white border then piano key border of all the colors, bind with the darkest (or what ever you have the most of).
Small white border, then a larger border of whatever fabric you have the most of THEN piano key binding!!! This is the back of a quilt but you can get the idea.

I agree that you should do a small inner border of the light to stop the eye. For the larger outer border - what does the backing look like? what is your favorite color? is it for a specific person? if so, what is their favorite color? if it is for you and you are putting it in a specific room, what are the colors for that room. You have so many great colors in the top that it really doesn't matter for the top, it can be based on the other factors.

I'm with Mariposa and Maryb119 on this and would love to see you pull the turquiose out, especially since there are so few of turquoise pinwheels. And I love the idea of finding a fabric that pulls in as many of the colors from the inside as you can. Very nice quilt. I love pinwheels!
