Color me fabric
I want to make pillowcases out of “color me “ fabric and I don’t know what kind of crayons or markers to use. These are for younger kids. after they have colored their cases ,how should they be laundered and is it safe for them to put their heads on colored fabric?
I also have some timeless treasure fabric which also appears to be for coloring. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
I plan to give them the finished but uncolored cases and a set of the crayons or markers. Is this a good idea?
Has anyon used this fabric in a quilt? If so when do you wash it? Do you press it after it is colored?

I would use the fabric crayons and then heat set. Marker will come off on their face. When my son graduated the guests all signed a pillowcase and he had funny names on his face when he used it.
