Default My own Derwent Inktense color chart for 72 pencils

Here is my own color chart to use as a guide with Derwent Inktense pencils. I wanted to show the vibrance after brushing aloe vera gel to half of the dry color on the fabric.

That is awesome! Always wanted to try this. Where do you get your inks from?

Totally awesome. To think...I almost threw away a big bottle of aloe vera gel for burns the other day! If I can only find the pencils. Now where do I go to find artistic talent like yours?

Your work is amazing...I so needed to see this as I am about to start my first landscape quilt project....I am going to use this technique on the sky and water..I have been researching all sorts of different shading ideas etc...but really love this and using the gel so it doesn't run is awesome....thankyou so much...now I have to find the water color pencils and inktense pencils by Derwent...I love what you have done...thank you for sharing...I am going to bookmark this....

Just buy the Inktense pencils. The watercolor ones are not as "intense" or quite as permanent. Good luck with these! I love them!

This quilt was colored by my mother with Parkinsons and arthritic hands while in a nursing home. Thank God I was able to finish it for my sister in January before she passed away in April and my mother in July.
