Here are some pictures. Maybe it's because I'm sleepy, but i have the feeling I would mess this up without some help.

Ricky Timms had a video lessons how to make this quilt on The Quilt Show website for members. It was very interesting and I learned a lot of good tips and techniques that helped me with other patterns.

Was at a Ricky Tims' seminar yesterday where he covered this and showed a number of variations he had done. I also have the book. The most intriguing (IMHO), were made from his hand dyed fabrics with spirals. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, but after this seminar (also featuring Alex Anderson) I will be trying a few if their ideas. Ricky explained that his instructions were to get you started, then let your creative brain take over.

I agree with quilttiger that a class would be a good choice. I made one and it came out well. I have the book, you could probably find one willing to sell theirs. Along with this group, there are other quilting/sewing sites that you could search.

I played with one with no instructions, however I only used 3 fat quarters. Do want to say thank you very much for the tutorial, I might want to try it again. They are intriguing.
