I, too, have the Panasonic mentioned above - love the shape, size, stand, cover, auto cord retraction, portability, etc.. I even happen to like that it shuts off by itself even though I often find myself having to wait for it to re-heat. The only con for me is that it doesn't get super-super hot like the Rowenta. I don't use steam in either iron and there's a noticeable difference to me but not a show-stopper.

I had been thinking of getting a cordless so thanks for the timely thread and advice. I bought a Panasonic 360 today at my fav quilt shop. Tried it out when I got home and so far I'm loving it. Quick to heat up to high setting and seemed plenty hot for me. I don't need nor want a scorcher. My sewing room is yellow and blue but I had only seen the red color. The shop had red and blue - yay! I got the blue one. $99 plus tax. No waiting and paying for shipping. I believe in supporting LQSs as much as possible. Sticking my tongue out at amazon. lol
