I have seen some pretty awesome Craigslist finds here. I was wondering what do you put in for a search? Sewing , crafts, sewing machines? Any good ideas of how to get the best out of a search?

When I search in my area, I just put sewing in the search window and see what pops up.

I search for sewing, quilting, quilt. I've tried searching "fabric" and it returns a huge list of furniture! lol

You might want to also just browse thru the Arts & Crafts category. Some people don't spell correctly and you may miss something that doesn't pull up in a search. :)

I have found things in arts and crafts and antiques. Good luck hunting. I've never bought anything, but look a lot.

    Hi Linda,

I search under "For Sale" category for "Sewing".

Keep searching everyday in your town and your surrounding area. If looking for something specific expand out from your town as far as you're willing to travel for the item. For the right price it's worth the drive. Good luck in your searching.
